Ask yourself these few questions before you decide………

Will that Thai taxi driver stop for you and your wheelchair?

Where will you get a doctor for that new cough ?

Where will you get that prescription filled?

Will your “companion” be from New York, Florida or Chaing Mai?

Do you know how much the airport departure tax is? And where do you pay it?

Will the tuk-tuk driver take my walker?

There are over 10,000 vendors at Chatuchak market. How will you carry all those purchases?

Where is the Bangkok post office?

Do you enjoy authentic Thai food? I don’t mean Thai food served in Michigan, I mean THAI food served in Thailand?

How about a good cup of Maxwell House coffee? Will it be in your condo with a Mr. Coffee?

“ Handicapped accessible” is not recognized in Thailand. Is your condo set up for your needs?

Can I fit my wheelchair through the bathroom door? Better yet? Does the hotel have a “western” toilet or do I have to squat?

Not all public toilets have toilet paper, where are the good “free” restrooms?

Sightseeing is wonderful, but which is going to be better, a dinner trip down the Chao Phraya river or climbing Doi Suthep, floating market anyone?

Health Abroad has these answers!

Our services include having been all over Thailand, Cambodia, (Angkor Wat is not to be missed if your able) Viet-Nam and Laos. We know what sites are for you and which are better left for the next trip. What time of the year are you coming here? I don’t want to visit the Great Wall in February in shorts! Do you understand the laws of different countries? We in the US can say what we want about Bush or Clinton, it would be a shame to recover from a face lift in jail because of a remark you made about the king.

CAUTIONS:

My friend needed two suitcases ( he had bought too many bargains), they wanted $40.00 for one. We left with two for $25.00. Another friend paid over $300.00 for a wonderful dinner for three people, lobsters, shrimps etc. It’s a shame, he should have only paid $40.00 for the same meal. Thailand is a wonderful, beautiful country to be sure and is certainly the “land of smiles“, but….. Even though the is very little violence compared to the US there are dangers to your wallet nonetheless. A Thai will not hold a gun to you for your wallet but he may convince you that it REALLY is a Rolex! How will you tell? I have been told by many clients that not only did they have a time of their life that never would have been possible alone, but that our company paid for itself! That’s success! Any company can charge fees and offer services, the test is what value was received?
